This page does not publish reviews of Ocala Building Contractor. There is no star average, no review count, and no sentence presented as something a customer wrote. Verified Google reviews will be shown when a Google profile URL is confirmed. Until that URL exists, the honest page is an empty one. Filling the space with praise the company wrote itself would look like evidence. It would not be evidence. About the company states who the company is. It is not a substitute for a review.

The star card is a layout, not a rating

The card on this page is a layout for a review that is not here yet. The star shapes are part of that layout. They are not a score, an average, or five stars the company awarded itself. A layout shows where a name, a date, and a review would sit if a confirmed Google review were placed in the card. Showing that furniture is not the same thing as showing a review. Read the label on the card. It says the card is not a customer review. Do not describe the shapes as the company’s rating.

Why invented testimonials are rejected

An invented testimonial is a sentence the company wrote, or a vendor wrote, and then attributed to a customer who did not say it on a record the company can point to. Publishing that sentence would ask you to believe a person praised the work. If no such person has a confirmed review, the sentence is false even when it sounds ordinary. The falsehood is the attribution, not the adjectives. This page rejects that practice. It also rejects the softer versions: a composite of several jobs, a paraphrase with the name removed, or a sentence labeled as typical. Typical is still invented if nobody said it.

Sample quotes are refused for the same reason. A sample is still a quote if it is offered as the shape of what customers say. This page does not draft one, even as an illustration of what it refuses to print. You will not find a pretend customer, a pretend town, or a pretend date. You will not find a sentence in quotation marks standing in for a Google review. When a real review is available from a confirmed profile, it can be shown as that review, unchanged in its meaning, with its source. Until then, the space stays blank.

Invented reviews also crowd out the questions that actually tell you whether to hire someone. A flattering paragraph does not name the license, does not attach an insurance certificate, and does not say who pulls the permit. It feels like proof because it is written in the first person. Feeling is not a record. Ocala Building Contractor would rather explain the empty page than decorate it. Project types on this site are categories of work, not a gallery of finished jobs with customer captions. Documented project photos are not the same thing as a testimonial, and they are not offered here as praise.

What to ask instead of trusting a star average

A star average, even a real one, compresses different jobs into one number. A roof and a house addition do not test the same work, and a review from another county does not describe Marion County’s permit path. Ask questions that have documents behind them. None of the questions below requires a stranger’s paragraph.

Scope in writing

Ask what is included, what is excluded, and what would change the price if it is discovered later. This site does not publish a price. A description that never becomes a written scope is hard to compare with anyone else’s number.

The license

Ask for the license number and look it up yourself. The published number is CBC1263067, a Florida certified building contractor license. Licenses and insurance explains what that license covers and what it does not. A star average will not show whether a trade is being offered under the wrong license.

The insurance certificate

Ask for a certificate of insurance before work starts. The company is insured. This site does not print limits or policy numbers. The certificate states them. A review cannot attach that certificate.

Who pulls the permit

Ask who submits the permit and who is the contractor of record. Building permits separates city review from county review. The permit file, when one is required, is a public record. A star rating is not.

Who is on the site

Ask who will be on the property, which trades are subcontracted, and who you will reach when a decision is needed. A review written after some other job does not name the person who will be on your property.

• Ask for the scope in writing, including exclusions, before you compare anyone’s number.
• Ask for license CBC1263067 and confirm it on the state lookup, including the license type.
• Ask for the current insurance certificate. Do not accept a limit printed only in an advertisement.
• Ask who pulls the permit and which office reviews that parcel.
• Ask which trades are subcontracted and which licenses those contractors hold.
• Ask who you will call on a day when the work is open and a decision is required.

When a Google profile can be shown

Verified Google reviews belong on this page after a profile URL is confirmed. Showing them means showing the review Google already displays: the name, the date, and the rating attached to that review. It does not mean rewriting the reviews into a smoother paragraph.
